Enlightenment Ministry began as a ministry from God.  On July 03, 2007 I was arrested by Williamsport, Pennsylvania police officers.  I was accused of raping and molesting my own niece (my sister’s child).  The charges included rape of a child, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact or communication with a minor.  Several charges were dropped or removed along the way.

I love my niece and would never do anything to harm her.  My sister, her
mother, years ago claimed that our oldest brother had molested her. 
However, in a signed, notarized letter, she admitted to having lied, and that our
mother made her.  The public defender assigned to my case wondered if the
pattern of lying was carried on to my niece, as she refused to testify.

My niece, unlike the false statements made by the Assistant District Attorney to the local newspaper, refused to testify on the stand.  She was provided the opportunity to testify by closed-circuit television, but again refused.  The judge ruled my niece was “legally unavailable”.  Any claims she made to anyone, except her mother and mother’s friend, were inadmissable.  Even the Sexual Abuse Nurse Examiner could not state under oath any sexual abuse had taken place.  After 8 months and 11 days of being incarcerated, the jury found me not guilty on all count and I was released from prison.

My family and friends stood behind me throughout the ordeal.  The name
“Enlightenment Ministry” and the verse from Psalm 18:28 were given to me by God, while incarcerated.  Bible Studies, reading from the Bible, and constant prayer kept me safe from harm, and abiding in the love from God and his beloved son, Jesus Christ.

It is with a humble heart and eyes towards our Heavenly Father that I send His word to the darkest corners of the world and into the most discouraging places.  May God bless you in all you stand in need of this very day.
